I made it down to the track today. The weather was ok it was near 80 and the humidiy was typical for central FLA.

We went down with the Twins, My 06 and GreenEnvy's 06. Green's is stock with a modded airbox. I have the B&B cat back, Volant intake w/ram air, and 170 stant.

We noticed the trans doing some funky things in third, almost like a TQ lock up... it felt weird unsure of what it was, but both truck did it. Both also have the TCM update. The stocker got pulled pretty good, but it ran strong. Green can post his times if he wishes.

Track temps 80-82 Dewpoint 55-56 Humidity 37-37
My BEST
R/T -.007 oops
60ft 1.817
1/8 8.369@ 82.16
1/4 13.104@103.46

Second Best
R/T.011
60ft 1.837
1/8 8.453 @ 81.28
1/4 13.232 @ 102.42

The other two runs were 13.249 and 13.342

We noticed these motors suffer bad from heat soak. Also a higher redline and shift point will help a lot since it shifted into 4th at the end.

I want to say 13.4 and 13.5 not bad at all.

Nice runs...
Those times are not bad at all running on that weather near 80.
If you were running on the DAs we have had here in Jersey, ohh man... easlily you would be on the 12's. Actually we've seen a bone stock jeep SRT8 run 12.8 at ATCO.

Will you be going back to for more runs? How far is this track from you?

I will be going back, its about 45min away. This was my base line before the H/C, headers, B&G stageII go in.

Yeah for me it's also about 45 minutes away, and I've been going almost every weekend since it opened up in Feb.
Hey man, you got a heck of a baseline to beat, but you'll have no problem beating that with those mods.
Last week I saw Bevs jeep with the H/C, kooks, B&G Stage II (and NO nitrous) run a 12.2, and Tony's (InfernoSRT8) ran a 12.8 or 12.7 with the kooks, CAI and B&B exhaust (modified with Magnaflow mufflers), remember this was a better temp and DA than you were runing.
I'm sure you can't wait to get those installed.
Have you thought of runing nitrous in the future?

Fan mod? I dont have one made yet but i have the supplies. It will be one relay and one switch. In off or nutrual it will run the fan as stock, in the on position it will bypass the stock line and turn on the factory relay. Once i get a chance i will post details. The Ediff and ABS mods were ez. ;)

OH, Hell no I am going crazy. I pulled into my garage tonight and there were two huge boxes labeled KOOKS:D Cant wait till next week.

I am thinking about NOS, but not with the AMS Charger. If it ends up taking long I may put a small shot on just to lower intake temps.

Sounds like a superior way to do the fan mod.

I'd sure like the details on the fan mod and abs/ediff mod. What is the TCM mod?

I am sorry i did not document the install from the begining. I will go back and do it. I.E. Wire color and location with photos.

If I have time this weekend I will make a small website with useful info like this. So i can put better quality photos up.

The ABS mod is the same as the traction control mod. This will give you full off TCM, slightly different shifting pattern, and supposedly 100% throttle in first.

THe Ediff shuts off the front differential,so 2wd

The Fan mod will turn the fan on all the time so we cool these crazy hot temps.

That would be awesome! Things like this really make the forum a great place to hang out.
