The 2010 MSRP is in the low 49K range due to the couple of dropped options.

$50110 was the 2009 price

09 fully loaded (minus block heater) was $50,910. That's what mine MSRP'd for.

Went back and re-did the config with Modern Blue and saw I forgot an option so it's $52,300 with all the boxes checked. The website says 2009 though . . .

My 2009 Grand Cherokee SRT8 4x4
Base Price $42,965
My Selections Show me $8,555
Destination Charge $780
MSRP* as Configured $52,300
Current Incentives $0
Net MSRP* $52,300

The site is wrong. You don't need to add Navigation/Rear Back-Up Camera Group of you choose SRT High-Performance Audio and Navigation Group b/c you'd be paying double for the same option :D

Do this:
configure the SRT8
--> at the options selection page:
>> Choose SRT Option Group II
>> Choose SRT Option Group I
>> Choose SRT High-Performance Audio and Navigation Group

You'll see that Navigation/Rear Back-Up Camera Group is listed as included but the site will allow you to add it to your configuration. Once you do that, the price drops ~ $800 and the SRT High-Performance Audio and Navigation Group is unchecked.

Problem is that you can check SRT High-Performance Audio and Navigation Group again, add it to the configuration and it gives you the $52,300 price which is wrong.

So far I can't find the 'website feedback' link to report this.
I hope this clears things up for you.

I understand now. Yea, I didn't think the window sticker could ever get that high, but neither did I think it'd let you add the same option twice.
Had nothing against your price and what it came out to be, just though it was unusually that I was getting a higher price than others, AND ResumeSpeed even said the price.
Thanks for the clarification! Not that it was a big deal :p haha

Hey, the site was wrong, you weren't :D You were misled if anything. Good catch on your part otherwise I would have never dug into it.

Joe C, $42,950 at the "Trunk Monkey"? That was they gave me back in Nov 09 on my 2010.

Who was your salesmen? I dealt with the fleet/leasing manager, cannot remember his name.

Either way, second purchase from them... but not interested in the service department, they have not been much help in the past. Buerge Jeep on Santa Monica for anything major.

Indeed, $43,000 at HB. We dealt (and still deal) with Alan Goodall. On the dealership's website he's listed as one of the "online sales managers." In any case, he's great. We've kept up a fairly regular correspondence since we bought the car and he's been incredibly helpful and friendly.

I've had pretty much the exact opposite experience with service departments from yours. HB has been awesome. They installed my BWoody intake and all of the service guys were also very friendly. I went to Buerge a few months ago because there was a rattle coming from the rear and had a pretty bad experience with their service department. Long story short, I had an appointment and they made me sit around in the waiting room for 2 hours before telling me they wouldn't be able to get to my car that day and to come back the next day. They failed to tell me when I made my appointment that they day I scheduled was the day that they were going to completely switch computer systems and would be retraining almost everyone in the service department. I think I was just unlucky and picked a bad day to go in, but the whole experience was pretty lame.

USAA has them at a very good price (the additional $1000 and $500 military rebate are not included in the USAA price). Unfortunately, they're quite hard to find nowadays. Either way, I think USAA sets the bar on pricing for the most part. Most dealers (of other makes) that I go to said they would honor USAA price and even order the vehicle if they did not have it on the lot. Too bad the SRT8 is out of production.
