If so, does anyone know the Part # for the Red Brembo brake calipers?

I'd like to buy a set if they will fit.

I know for sure they will fit because one of the members in Chicago had them on his Jeep. Straight swap. Not sure on the part numbers though off hand.

It was ZenGarage that had them. The guy who was doing the tail tints.

Here ya go Mango. This is a link with photos of Zen's rig before he sold it.

I've thought about doing it myself. Might see if one of those guys in my area would like to swap out his calipers for mine?

thanks for the pic!
I have been looking for that.
Any suggestions on where to buy them?
I saw on another thread that they were 8oo for the 4 but they did not mention where they got them.
I would buy them for that price and then put the black ones on ebay for 500 bucks for a quick sale.

Thanks barho!!!

Yeah, my parts guy told me $800 for the set was total BS. He said more like $1300 from Mopar.

I just grabbed part numbers and prices from my parts department.......

My cost on all four is $955.20

I can sell them for $970

That is for the Red Calipers found on the Charger SRT's

If the Silver calipers found on the 300 SRT's will work....

My cost on those is $1,039.40

I can sell them for $1,054

If anyone needs the part numbers let me know

And by the way......retail is just over $1,300

what would be the right paint to use if I just want to paint mine red rather than spend a grand on red ones?

I would say you should probably get them powdercoated.......you could try the paint but it probably wouldnt hold up to the heat so well......just my opinion though

if i wanted to do this, my first move would be to register on the lx forums and offer to do a straight swap with somebody.

Yeah, when I had an M3, a lot of the guys painted the calipers. The trick was to get the right paint. Most people had no issues. I would have an interest in painting mine red!

They should have put the exterior paint on the rotors to match the exterior IMHO, I want the red calipers to but cant justify the price to swap them out. It would look sooooo sweet Inferno Red with red calipers!

Im seriously considering painting mine red, I'm just not sure how to do it exactly. Do I need to wire brush all of the existing black off? Or should I bead blast them (we have a huge cabinet here in our shop).

Kind of funny all the talk about changing them to red. When Zen was selling his Jeep I was talking to him about how much and I asked him if he still had the black calipers because I liked them better (more stealth) because his truck was black. I think I offended him, because he quickly said no.

Colour match to truck would be cool, but the red does stand out on any vehicle and look nice.
