Hey Guys and Gals, Just picked up my SRT8 this Tue. And I am super stoked on it. A little bout me since you know all bout the car already =P I sold my 05' RT Magnum for this baby and dont regret it one bit. Im a 22 yr. old Electrical Engineer out of Orange, California. Looking to get some great modding ideas from this site. Put on a shorty black antenna yesterday as my first mod so were of to the races hehe. Well i hope to become a Active member of this site and look forward to talking with you all.

Thank you all, Wow there are alot of people active on this site, I came from Custommagnums.com And it is a great site with alot of step by step DIY but sometimes the site can be dead from time to time. Glad to be here. Also from what I have heard, is there a govener on the jeep to like 3k miles for engine break in?

I don't believe there is a governor, just a rev limiter.
there is the recommendation of "breaking in" the engine for a while; however, even that isn't 3k miles...My dealer told me 500.
Just drive it like you stole it and you'll have mucho more fun. :D
someone can correct me if I am off a bit.

No correction here...500 miles was quoted to me by my dealer also. However; after thinking it was a good idea to have the first oil change done early at 1,000 miles, I read on the forum that the factory oil has extra additives for the seals. I don't know if that was ever confirmed or not, but as you know not all service departments know about these vehicles.
