Well on the way to work this morning, I hit something made of metal on the highway (295 North for NJ people). I was traveling about 70mph and I'm on the road at around 6am, so it's still dark out. I have no idea WHAT I hit, but I was driving my VW GTI and it wrecked my rear passenger side rim. It's completely dented/crushed along the lip where the tire bead goes. :( :(

I had to pay $488 for ONE of those rims, they're 18" BBS wheels. Crazy expensive, and it has to be flown in from friggen Germany, so that was another $62.45. The tire is $210 but I'm trying to get that for free under the "Road Hazard" warrenty I bought with the car.

I'm just thankful it wasen't the SRT-8 that hit *whatever* the hell was on the road.
