Yes ABS Valve fuse in the Fuse panel closest to the firewall. Toward the motor there is a line of Four(I THINK) fuses pull the Pink one. Its the larger fuses not the little one. THe Ediff is in the same panel

Seriously, Not really sure of any long term damage. We will find out, since there is a kit out to add a switch.

The main benifit is you will get more throttle out of first. Supposedly it is limited to 75-80% in first gear. I will vouch it does feel stronger in first. I also feel that it shifts a bit early with the ABS off.

I am going to the track tomorrow and will try both ways.
