Well, doesn't matter who the guy is or what he drives - an ass is an ass. I wasn't there so I'm just making a blanket statement.

The CTS-V was my second choice when considering a new car - I'm glad I took the Jeep ;) My 84 mile daily commute is KILLING me though, I might have to get a Civic or a Prius to offset the fuel costs.

Side Note: I ran into a similar type of guy as described in the Cadillac post. Rte 3 North, Nashua NH, Red SRT8 - Rhode Island license plate "ADF" (or "AOF" - not too sure).

I was right behind him for a good 10 miles, in front of him for about 5, didn't even get a slight acknowledgement out of the guy, which was surprising considering how rare these things seem to be. Oh well

Steve, I had my eyes open looking for you this past Sunday mornin. I was up in Nashua for a couple hours visiting my Father-in-law. He's got a diner in the area.

at least there were a few of them giving the jeep some good props...even considering purchasing!

I traded my CTS-V in on my Jeep, so I know a little something about both vehicles. I would do it again in a heartbeat, no regrets.

I am trying to get myself to do the same, just can't decide how much I want the black interior (wait for the 2008's or not...). I honestly don't know why I love this V so much... But that test drive of the Jeep SRT8 put an even bigger smile on my face!

Ekool ,,,,, being an admin guy can u put together a chart of mods to answer the basic questions of better mods to use ..useing the answers u get?

This might eliminate the consent question of newbies and help out in the comparison . So we all know how to bet the sh$t out of every one else!!!!!!

There was mention of something called a Magnavolt. I'm sure Tommy25000 or BBLV can answer our question.

That would be correct: maggie = magnacharger. Some guys are pushing over 500rwhp with their TUNED setups over on cadi forums. I can't wait to have a Jeep SRT8 with 500+awhp! Will have no more need for a chiropractor with that kind of acceleration.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time to really do that... but nothing would stop a user from starting a thread and conducting that kinda stuff themselves and I can certainly sticky it.

However, that type of thing is so much based on opinion it'll be hard to ever "decide" whats good or not... you have people on this site that sware by one thing and people who sware by the opposite.

The biggest reason I sold was always having to be afraid of 2 things.

1. Wheel hop
2. Blown diffs.

Both of the above are SERIOUS problems.

6 diffs for me, 1 engine, 1 trans, 1 flywheel/clutch assembly etc etc etc...................... Reason enough?? lol

Oh ya, never raced; only driven "aggressively" ;)
