Just wondering what the largest LSA could be on a N/A motor that is still streetable? Littleboy is 114 IIRC.

If I were in your position, I would check with the various vendors here and get some expert opinions based on your overall goal. Are you going to stop at the CAM or considering HEADS later? Will you eventually go S/C? Some things to consider. Also, there's the consideration of installing the CAM straight up, advanced, retarded based on your application.

I'm not an engine builder but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express once and I read the forum threads carefully :D Search on 'LSA' and you'll find a few threads where this is discussed.

I think if you could give more details on what supporting mods you plan to do would help give you a better answer. Are you looking to do just the cam and keep the stock heads/springs, or are you planning to upgrade those as well? If you're looking to do only the cam, I'd have to agree that the FRI LittleBoy is a reputable one (I think LSA is 114). I'm currently running that cam on my rig and it works great as a daily driver. But that's just my 2 cents - I'm sure other owners will chime in with their opinions in no time at all. Keep looking around!

If I do a cam it will be in conjunction with heads on a stock bottom end. I am not trying to do this soon, I was just curious as to what the largest could be.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but here's my understanding of a wide LSA compared to a narrower one given the same lift and duration.

Trade high end power for low end, detonation possibility will decrease, overlap will decrease, exhaust happens earlier, intake later.

As Dan stated, I'm running a 112 in mine with no issues. I currently have a stock bottom end. My cam can be run with stock heads, but the springs would need to be changed out. IIRC the lift on my cam is 592/573.
I can't find my cam card off hand.
