I know my SRT is a UK spec model but this advice should work for everyone:
Get you Jeep serviced as soon as Possible, have a moan about performance and responsiveness and acceleration and sit back and wait.
I done this with mine on its first service last week and it is now honestly like a new vehicle. It actually shocked me the difference in performance. The guy at the dealership casually said we sorted out your problems it was just some updates on the PCM. mine is an 07 model if that helps.

What?!

So let me get this straight. Walk in, and say "I'd like my vehicle serviced." Then moan, and say "The performance and responsiveness and acceleration are not up to par." Then sit and wait?

Later, they will return my vehicle to me and tell me that they fixed it, and it will suddenly be faster? So this is like the "Service Department" mod or something?

No. What it means is that if your Jeep like mine has a few issues take it into your authorised dealer and by them reprogramming the PCM with the latest updates it will improve the performance of your vehicle, if you are having some minor performance issues.
But as you are not please ignore this thread and anything else that you may think irrelevant.

In the US we can't get the morons to apply the proper TSB's. Tell them it is not performing well, and they will look you in the eye and say thats how its designed, and its perfectly normal.

Moaning is a crap way to ask for help. Bad customer! No biscuit!
