Still no dyno tune...

60' -------- 1.808 .... NOT my best by all means... But im workin on it
1/8 ------- 8.01
1/4 ------- 12.520

Still lookin for 12.4s before my dyno tune. But im not so sure that will happen.
Dyno tune scheduled tomorrow (friday)

It was a pretty cool / dry night. Lots of people were there, so I only got in 2 runs all night...
Mike from Bwoody was there in a BEAST diesel truck. And as you know, a few of us from the forums were there. Overall, it was a good night

Congrats on the PB!!! :D

After a dyno tune you should pick up some speed and drop some time. Both Chris and Harrison with cams (no heads) are running 60' foots in the low to mid 1.7's so I would think you should be there as I was running 1.80's all night last night.

I was just off my PB last night by about 4 hundredths. :(

Im getting a "street" tune and a "race" tune

I want to keep a safe tune for street use, and still get good times at the track

A lot of lightning owners do the same thing w/2 tunes since those motors are known for "venting the block" when the tune is pushed in DD.

But like others said once is dyno tuned you'll see low 12s for sure.
I want to get in the low 12s also but without going into the motor, just a few more bolt-ons and I should be good ;).
Did you get any wheel spin off the line? If you did that's why the 1.8, I'm sure your jeep has a 1.7 and better all day long once it hooks. Mine hooked well last night and mine were consistent 1.7s.
What air pressure where you running? I had mine at 40 PSI  But I've been playing a lot with that and with the OEM G/Y runflats anything between 36 and 40 works for me, track prep is very important too.

Next time Im going to add more air to the front an take more out of the rear (40 front 32 rear)... This seems to work best for my truck

I was just stating my experience for others that might have concerns on the PSI they should be running to have good traction.
I don't think I have ran different PSI on the fronts and back, when I change it I change them all to be the same. I'm interested to see how that will work for you, let me know when you run and if it works well for you.

When I run at the track, I'm usually 28 pounds in all 4 tires

Im gonna do 36 front 30 rear maybe. See how it does and go from there.

I cant wait to hit up the track again. I need some better times.

I ran 40 front 36 rear and last time out got a 1.803 60' and I am on stock crapyears while pretty stock. Dont know wether thats a good 60' or not but I think it is since I'm pretty stock.
