I have 2years and 2 months of tinted tails. Mine are perfect. im in CO. we have blue sky and sunshine 300 days a year.......... now back to the OP question forgot tinting them yourself. use a professional painter. if they know what they are doing, you wont have an issue. and they will look wonderful. veyronSRT8@TTCreations 10-15-2009, 03:36 PM tint ur tails they will look sick but just drill a small hole in the back so it wont warp no condensation issues vinny?....i'd say you can tint them but not too dark and if you do want to go dark then consider either replacing the stock bulbs with LEDs (req. resistors) or go the aftermarket LED tail route.... No Heat gun, this is pure speculation, But some think it has to do with the Tint keeping the heat from the bulb in, causing the tails to melt.
