Took the SRT8 up to the dragstrip today and met up with Knuckles and Horhay25. I have been racing for years, but this was the 1st time with the truck. We had a blast! I was hoping to just break into the 12's with it and did quite well.

Needless to say I was very happy with the results. For a almost 5000lb SUV it moves out pretty good! Should have some video of it soon thanks to Knuckles! Awesome time guys!!! :D

Don't think my suspension mods hurt or helped. It's just sway bars and end links.

Yeah, it was cold. Jorge and I were up there around 8:15am, Jose showed up a little later. But they did not even start racing till almost 11 due to track conditions.

Holy sheet it was cold out! I have not run the jeep in temps lower than high 50's yet. I look forward to some 40* weather in the coming months. It is still in the damn 90*s down here, hell we are breaking record high temps. :(

Stock except the CAI/Sprintbooster...I ran a 13.17 @ 102.59 with a 60' of 1.86...it was my first run ever with this truck...not too shabby...

I'm guessing the temp at the time was about 35 or so MEAN...cause my NUTS were almost frozen!!

Thanks man. its the coils. LOL. that run was a 1 footed run. brake then gas. No spinning at all. the 315's got rid of the little wheel spin I had. Next time you go LMK. well next year. the jeep is going into storage now for the winter. Mods over winter will be brakes and some minor paint repair.

tires are the 275/315 toyo proxes st1. I did 5 runs, 1 with the ac on at 13.1s. 60fts were1.8259 and 1.8122 on 2 other runs so I did get a great launch on the 12.9 run.

Yup just looked at the HD video in full 1920 x 1080 and its is 89.65 MPH. Yeah that is what they run and let alone the temps were around mid 30's and the DA was negative. So no excuses.

I think the MSD coils help bring the 60ft down. I am working on a dual MSD DIS-4 ignition setup now/this winter. I will test with it and without it at the track early next year. There is power in ignition. and a MPG increase (hidden motive to have the power pay for itself).
