More than likely going to hit Firebird on Friday. This will be the first 1/4 run since adding Vortech...hoping for some good times with this cooler weather.
Anyone else want to meet up there, let me know.

Awesome, I am eager to see what the jeep will run. Probably low 12's to high 11's depending on track elevation and weather?
Will keep an eye out for your times. Have fun and be safe. :)

Thanks Dave...I will report back! I am very curious as to what it will run..I am kinda doubtful about about 11's, I dont kno why..I will be so pumped if I see 11's though.

I just jumped on dragtimes and checked the track elevation for Firebird International in AZ and it is 1082 ft above sea level and I checked the temps tonight and ran a DA for 7:51pm. The temp is 75.9* with 29.76 inches HG (barometric psi) and 26% relative humidity which put the DA to 2704.
It will be hard to get 11's with the DA that high. :( I'm still optimistic for you though and I'm sure you will have a blast.
Try to note some times of other cars there to compare. Like at Gainesville last week there was a Z06 that ran 11.9 and a modified 04 cobra that ran 12.5 to my fastest of 12.7 so I was happy. For the mild mods I have and a tune that needs to be dialed being .2 off a cobra pushing 14 lbs of boost and .8 off a 505hp Z06 is not half bad considering they are lighter and pushing more power.
Either way have fun Casey and go whoop some butt!!! :)
Running boost should be pretty helpful in high altitude.. compared to N/A that is...
Good luck on your runs. Post your times!!

Are you at Firebird right now? I hope so........

man nething w boost/nitrous running faster than 14 requires you to wear a fire jacket at Firebird...which I do not have yet. I might still go up there and see if I can get by tech..

Oh wow, that sucks. I hope you can figure something out and get to the track another time.

What time was that run made?

Well according to dragtimes at 9:51pm at Firebird International the temp was 75*, pressure at 29.87 inches, and relative humidity was 17% putting the DA at 2484 and Relative Density at 92.93%.
Extensively Modified Supercharged and Turbocharged Engines
12.461 @ 109.199 MPH
The above is using dragtimes calculator.
Knowing what boost you were pushing would help in figuring why your times were a little off. What was your 60' time? your 1/8?
Don't be embarrassed about your time....try not to judge compared to the times on here as there are so many elements that can effect the times you run.
