I know the rear brake pads are the same, but will the front 2006 CTS-V pads fit our Jeeps as well?

Why would you want to switch the fronts? The rears are the ones that make the noise.

Thanks! I am looking at changing all four pads, and I was wondering because if they did fit they are much cheaper than the front OEM Jeep SRT8 pads. The CTS-V pads are Brembo as well, right? I am sold on the CTS-V pads for the rears because of the noise, but I don't know what to do for the fronts. The OEM front pads are way too expensive IMO, especially since they are extremely dusty and eat up the rotors. I was thinking Hawk HPS pads up front and CTS-V pads out back, is that a good combo?

Yea the Hawks HPS are nice pads also.. The EBC red stuff brake pads are nice too, but they will make A LOT of noise for the first 1k miles or so.. Are you planning on changing rotors also?

Lol, You should of ordered the Hawk pads with them.. They would of given you a good deal.. I plan on going to the EBC red stuff pads when my fronts wear out.. I can deal with the noise for 1k miles. From what i understand they have a mean bite to them!! I also only use EBC products on my bikes and i've never had any issues!

The hawk pads don't stop as good as stock but leave a lot less dust. I haven't tried the EBC red but the Yellows need to be hot to stop good but they will disappear quickly. Went through a set of fronts in 65 miles at a road course.

Some where out of your state and with free shipping would be the way to go. Try google searching the internet for EBC.

Yeah my Hawk pads are a lot less dusty then the stock Brembo Pads and don't stop as well as the stockers do. I think that people will not find any pad that performs beter than the stock pads out there. Its a toss up of either perfomance or less dust. Right Chad? With that said I am thinking of putting my stck pads back on the front because they just bite better.

I put the R1 rotors all around with CTS-V's in the back and went with Hawks (cause I got a good deal from R1 plus they were way cheaper than the OEM fronts.

The dust is much less and the stopping power is not near as bad as some make it out to be. Not the same as stock but still very good stopping power, no noise and way less dust!

I'm not saying its horrible but when I do my track days, the stock pads go in. Hawks just don't feel right until they are used for awhile. Stock is good from the get go.

Yeah that is my feeling as well Chad. I have used my brakes pretty hard with the Hawk pads and notice that the ABS wants to kick in right away at times, which never happened with the stock pads before. So at 350.00 I decided not to just throw away my pads that still have a lot of meat on them:D

Wow that is cheap for a rear set of pads, nice. It's been 17 degree's here lately and when it gets that cold it sounds like a cat has gotten stuck in the parking brake when I want to stop :)
