I am considering have some covers for our keys machined out of 6061 aluminum. They would not be very much bigger than the body of our keys and would allow you to have all the functionality of the stock key [access to all buttons, metal key part, etc] while having much better looks. The housing/cover would be 2 pieces and would secure with 2 small allen head screws. They are pretty complex to machine because the interior and exterior of the cover has to match the key with good accuracy. If you guys decide they are something you would be interested the pricing would be something as follows: $66 shipped for 1 cover or $110 for two covers. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Also, if you wouldn't mind posting a picture of what your key looks like, it would be greatly appreciated. Just need to make sure that my design will work with the '06 w/o remote start keys. Thanks.

UPDATE:
The key covers are taking a break...for the first of the entire line of engine dress up parts, look here:

I know what the '07 key looks like...just need to see an '06/without remote start.

So you guys are willing to buy in at $66? I wish I could do less but even making 100 of these still leaves them pretty expensive.

make up a prototype and post the pic, as you can see there is lots of interest but im sure no one will commit completly without first seeing the product.

I am interested. SRT8 in it would look great. One thing Chrysler sucks at is making keys. The 2005 Viper has the same key fob as the Grand Caravan!

Key covers will come but I don't really want to have so much inventory on hand. To get the prices low I have to run 100 pieces of the key covers....and a lot of people want the engine dress up parts.I don't need 100 key covers and 50 sets of engine dress up parts sitting around - I have to leverage my capital carefully. Don't worry though, I'll take care of you guys.

I'd buy one, possibly two. You will definately be able to sell these... The way we see rm360's pieces move?? These are sure to be a hit!
