When I got mine the dealer told me that they didn't make an SRT-8 owner's manual. What's up with that?

there is a specific owners manual and service manual to the srt 8
call them back and demand it , mine didnt have it either
after calling JEEP directly they in turn called the dealer and i had my correct manuals overnighted
someone took them most likely

Yah, you'll probably see them end up on ebay from a dealer employee :(

When I ordered mine, I told the dealer, don't wash it, don't prep it, dont put the front license bracket on, basically keep your hands off it, When I received it it had all the plastic still on the seats, all the manuals in the plastic bags they originally came in sealed. I still have the pedals in the box and the headphones still boxed up, The less you let the stealership touch your ride the better.

I got a regular Grand Cherokee manual. Dealer said it was the same manual for the SRT-8.

I'll be going back to the dealer tommorow and asking for the correct manual.

I believe the headphones he is reffering to are the ones for the Rear Seat DVD Player. My headphones came in a small brown box. Correct me if I am wrong Acidus.

I can't believe all the people who are not getting the proper manual with their SRT's.

As haplain mentioned, the (wireless) headphones are for the rear DVD system, comes with 2 sets.

The headphones for the rear DVD system. And sucks to see so many guys with the wrong manual, get to the dealer or get Jeep on the horn ASAP.

First of all, Hi to everyone... I love my SRT!!!! I got a regular manual also... Tried asking my dealer about it but they insist that there is no special manual available. Does anyone have a part number?

if you contact jeep direct, they will put you on hold an contact selling dealer
to "LOCATE" the owners/service manual both should have a red srt 8 on cover
and pertain to the 6.1 hemi service , thats how i finally got mine

I just picked up my black SRT8 last Friday and while there was a manual with it, it is NOT SRT8 specific.
