Well I met Phil (StangSlayerMA) at New England Dragway Wenesday Sept. 30th for some fun. He beat me to posting about it but I figured I would start my own thread anyway. My mods are HHP 426 stroker package, heads, cam, ported and polished intake manifold, Arrington 90 mm throttle body, AFE CAI, Kooks longtube headers with high flow cats, Stock after cat-back with a custom h-pipe in place of the first muffler, 2800 stall converter, and to run it all tuned by HHP.
My Jeep spins pretty good out of the hole so I have to come out off iddle and just roll the throttle down. Any harder and just tires squeling and terrible 60' times.
Anyway, on to the slip;

Awesome! That is faster than the last trip out so that is promising. You are oh so close to the 11.9 mark.

Did you try just flooring it from idle!! Try it, I kept telling Josh that but he never listens to me. I had a 1.666 60 that way with my HHP 426!!

Thanks guys, and yes I tried flooring it from idle and it netted me a 2.0 something 60'...
Maybe she will do better next time out as I just put on the Nitto NT05's in the 275/315 package today..
Keeping my fingers crossed for an 11.9x....... I will post about it next time out to the track..

Congrats on the PB!! My buddy was there that same night with his Titan and was telling me that there were some FAST Jeeps at the track! Gotta love that fall New England air! :D
