Great looking ride. So this is the first that I've seen with the side markers. Did you add those? I like them. I like the wheels a lot too. Not feeling the chrome grill though. Overall-- cool stuff you've done!

I love the side markers. Actually, it'd be cool if someone made LED equipped Mirrors for our trucks. My GTI has them and it's a great feature.

the chrome grill is not for me but i do like the rims (even though they remind me of a range rover) but i like how 22's liik on our GCs!

borgmann
03-21-2007, 12:31 PM
well the wheels i like yes they do look like range rover ones but were i got them there about 1000000 set of chrom and man makes it look fake i think.
well at the end it me driving SO. i was going to to get the spoiler kit for it.
it 2000 euro. plus the shipping.http://www.koenigseder.at/ but i dont know. getting the motor done next week. heads cam all of it. so hope to see about 420 on the wheels if not well then there SC. ;O).

I'm saying that buying heads & cam is a better decision that buying that wing. :)

if you put 24's on this vehicle it will not hadle and perform nearly as well. the tires are rubber bands... i had them for a week. and good luck missing EVERY pot hole

different stokes for different folks but imo if you want to go that route get an escalade

borgmann
03-22-2007, 12:44 AM
:D NO wing for me....... maybe a SC if the head and cam dont to the trick. ;O)....

24 will not fit. they will rub on the front. or they can but then you have to put 295 25 24 and that just sucks going to be a hard a.s to ride and you have to take more of were you go with it. for me that dont work found that the 22 work for me. i do feel it a bit slower just a bit. but when the heads cam are on next week then it will help. if not F:CK it put on the SC. yeah... 600 plus hp.

24s will fit just fine. But remember, just because something fits doesn't mean it should be installed :)

I've also gone the 24 route previously, but they just look too big on a small SUV like ours. But if that is the look you want, then I am excited for you! Can't wait to see pics!

ya all i want is it to look good, i had a navigator previously on 27s. Every picture people have posted up of there 22s, i think it looks better with the stock 20s... maybe its just the design they picked... The only rims i actually like are the ones you have on your truck. I am excited to see whats next... :D

I'd love to see pics of your navi. 27s, must have been the Lexani Johnsons? That was a very interesting concept in wheel design. I thought it would have taken off much better than it did. Being able to call a 22 inch wheel a 27 with the overlapping edge seemed to me to be a great idea.

Here was my last expedition (24inch GFG).....

It's up to you my man. I've beeen an appearance mod guy for a long time, and though not everyone has the same tastes in styles, I personally think 24s look a bit too big on these rides. 24s and up on fully sizers, no doubt. But on these mid sizers, I personally think 24s get you dangerously close to Donk status.

Yeah-- they did a beautiful job with that one for sure. And with the way it was lowered, it looked very nice. I won't argue that.

Looked good, but the part I am having a hard time with, Am I willing to sacrifice the ride and performance for a "look"?? I'm kinda straddling that hurdle right now...deciding if I want to buy your wheels in your "for sale" thread.......;)

Off topic alert....what was the weight addition for each 22" wheel/tire combo? Back on topic..... *cough----cough*:D

I have the weight somewhere. I will try to find it. If I remember correctly, I'm between 4 and 6 pounds lighter than stock, per wheel.
