Do you powerbrake or leave at idle? Please explain your reasoning for doing so.

I powerbrake when I see my opponent has correctly staged.

Just curious to see what others are doing. :)

depends on your rig, (IE blower, turbo, NA) I leave at 900 RPM give the PCM a signal. also look up high speed fan mod super easy for better track cool down times. also I deep stage.(donno if it will work on your Jeep) worth a shot. good luck im sure others will have better info.

I stall a little bit, maybe 1100. It seems to work for me, but it depends on the track conditions. too much stall could mean too much wheel spin..

No Stall Leave At Idle = 1.75/1.78 60' on oem gy run flats.

I leave at idle and my 60' are always between 1.80 to 1.89.

Everytime time I've tried stalling my 60 foots are in the high 1.9x's and my ets are worse.

Depends on the Jeep...tune, torque converter, tires, air pressure, traction control on/off, not to mention track prep. To many variables...me with BuilderBills new converter in the Jeep I am brake stalling to about 23-2500 rpms. Will get some good testing in this coming Friday though

Deep stage if you are worried about crossing the finish line first...shallow stage if you want to put up better numbers.

I guess the Jeep makes the difference...I am just the opposite. I have better times when I brakestall to 1500, than when I just mash and go.

I leave at 1200-1400rpm range. That has givin me my lowest 60' time. Anything over that I'll spin. I've tried the leave at idle thing and it spins worse. I like to load the suspension a little. I raise the RPMs when the first yellows go.
