Does anyone know of a company (or person) that sells the side moldings without "Grand Cherokee" on them?

rm360 ( the guy that sells the billet antennas) was selling some with SRT8 on them for around $450.

I haven't seen any yet. I'm sure any machinist could make some. Heck I bet a good body guy could fill in the current words and sand them smooth. I think it would look so much better all clean, without the words there.

Me too. I'm going to do some research into this and see what I can come up with.

As soon as I get my Jeep SRT8 I am going to have someone fill in the Grand Cherokee on the side moldings and flush mount the SRT8 symbol (same off the back of the Jeep) then respray them chrome. What do ya think??

I have been trying to get some made that match the stock ones minus the grand cherokee wording. I was think of having the new ones cut so the srt8 emblem would fit flush inside where they now say Grad Cherokee. Instead of chrome I want them painted black to match the car. I have called several places in Houston and none of them will machine new trim pieces. Any suggestions on who can do the work?

Do the moldings just snap on and off? what does it look like without them? Just curious because I like the blacked out look. I read thread where someone taped up the window moldings. has anyone done that with the moldings?
