Everything in my sig plus vortech what should I do next. I know I should be saving for a tranny but can I do anything else performance wise?

well if you honestly have a vortech...you will need Bill's transmission/transfer case....it is a MUST!

I know i could search for awhile but do you know rough estimate on the cost for transmission and transfer case and aproximate installation cost?

^ I was just goofing. Slow your roll, Casey. ;) But I'd +1 the transmission/tc since I've read those break down when highly modded.

I'd pass on the transfer case until you need it. As for the transmission, I believe its $4,200 on his website. I called the local dealership and they quoted me $350 for the swap.

As for upgrades, how 'bout the 10psi pulley? :D

I have the 8 pound pulley I believe I know its larger than the stock one that comes with the kit..nething else besides transmission?? Im thinking on waiting for the transmission and tc to bust before upgrading

You should be able to get your TC to last as long as you change the fluid frequently. Probably every 7-10k miles. The tranny though is just a ticking time bomb.....shifts will just start slipping more and more.

You could always follow Paulie's lead and up the boost and add more cooling!

What's the boost peaking at before gear changes? Mine is hitting 6 psi.

And I would know this from dyno pulls or something else? All I know is the pulley is larger than stock and I was at 7-8lbs boost at wot

I assumed you had a boost gauge. If you did, you would see how the boost increases with RPM's, and peaks out when the transmission shifts. By the way, smaller pulley = more boost, larger pulley = less boost. Not trying to be a prick, I'm just saying. :)

O my bad Ant. I do have A/f and Boost gauge. Unfortunately only the A/F reads...the tards Ive been working with as of yet have not been able to figure out how to get my boost to read....its driving me nutz

I know your pain. I've dealt with the same kind of 'tards, that's one of the reasons I've resorted to doing most of the stuff myself. :)
