My Engine is abit dirty. What should I use. I don't want to steam clean it. I just want something I can spray and whipe.... any suggestions?

I have been in the car wash bizz for over 20 years. Spray it down with Simply Green and hose it off. You will have it looking new in 5 min. Just dont do it with the motor hot and dont flood it.:D

Simple Green is excellent. I also use scrubbing bubbles the same way.

Anything I need to cover, or what should not get wet?

I just soak it in orange solvent for 10 min on a slightly warm engine and hose off, try not to spray solvent on ac and ps pump or alternator(anything with bearings). drive around block to dry then wipe engine bay with old towel and then spray every thing with stoner trim shine.

I just tried Simple Green on some residual spilled oil on engine. Worked like a charm.
