--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I thought I was going to be the proud owner of a 2006 w/22k miles for only $26k, but the deal wound up falling through... So, I'm back on the market and itching to find a nice rig!

I'm located in Seattle, WA but will consider any SRT8 in WA, OR, CA, NV, AZ, UT or ID. Would prefer an 08 but my spending limits will likely hold me to an 07 - Will also consider an 06 if the deal is right.

Color: Black or Silver
Must haves: Sunroof, Nav, rear DVD, leather/suede seats (not leather/cloth), low mileage (preferably below 40k).
Would prefer: Warranty of some sort, rear parking sensors.
Price range: Negotiable depending on specifics.

Figured this would be the best place to look, as most of you seem to be enthusiasts and likely take good care of your rigs. Please let me know if you have something you think I may be interested in.

Cheers!

Danny G.

I just blue booked my BLACK 07 with all the options you could get in 07 and its a late built (JUNE 07) on the private party price with 25,500 miles and it came up 36,925 and trade in price was 33,875 and thats with out any exstended warrantys. I do have the 7/100,000 0 deductable maxie care warranty on mine and i think these are going to be hard to get a hold of. I was think about selling it but after hearing that the 2011 wont offer an SRT-8 model i think i mite hold on to it and wait to see if the 2012 have a SRT-8 MODEL.
I just called to see what my exstended warranty would be worth if i cancelled it to day and they would refund me 2201 buxs.

I think it may have been god to let that 06 go, unless it was flawless, loaded, and an extended warranty.
Shouldn't have to much trouble finding an 07 for under $30k, or right above.
If you want to travel, and have a nice drive back, grocery gtr is selling his flawless 07 in FL. :p

Oh, yeah the 06 was flawed and optionless... Hence my not buying it. Although it did have a 5 year/60k warranty. In any case, I've seen several loaded 07s with low mileage for under $30k, so that's pretty much where my aim lies. In fact, I just missed out on a fully optioned 07 with 35k miles for $28k in AZ... In any case, I probably should've mentioned that I'd rather not spend more than $30k, and likely won't unless it's a great deal on an 08 that I can't pass on.

I love the idea of buying one from out of state and making a trip out of it - Sounds like a lot of fun. Only concern is somebody not disclosing everything about the rig and getting to wherever it is to find a piece of s--t... That's what happened with the 06 - Drove 200 miles to be greeted with a really fast, polished turd with 20" chrome wheels.

First of all, dealers, in general, ask too much for their vehicles most of the time - No offense to you. Second, this particular 06 had issues: the steering wheel was peeling like mad, there was a creased dent at the seam of R front fender and lower bumper with touch up paint slopped on it, the front R rim had been curbed probably 5 times, the carpets were all stained, the rear cargo area had potting soil scattered about, etc... Had it been $23k, I may have bought it and repaired all of the problems, but at $26k, I can do better. There are plenty out there in that price range...

Scratch that guys... Decided I'm going to wait until next May/June and try to get my hands on an '08 when the prices drop a bit more.

Thanks for your responses.
