33. Have some gray hair to make me look older (from my 2 little daughters I presume), and the height of a 9 year old (5'6"), so I've got a good mix going.:D

The SRT is my 6th Jeep, but my first in 8 years. Very happy I came back to it :)

I'm 38 going on 22. Mine is ordered, but not scheduled for production yet...so I'll probably be waiting a few more months for mine (at this point, I'm hoping it drags until July so I get an 07).

I'm excited about the SRT8 from what I'm reading on these forums. The dealer I ordered from emailed me yesterday and told me he got a red one (he wants me to buy it). I'm going to try to get a test drive on that one and then wait for my silver with no rear seat entertainment. I'm pleased to see how happy the SRT8 makes you guys that are used to higher-end cars as that's what I'm used to (02 M5, 01 M3, 01 CLK55, 97 SL500 and many more BMWs plus one Chevy truck for daily use...the SRT replaces the Chevy, only the SL500 remains from my list).

21 Here. I wanted to get a used C5 Vette but couldn't afford to get something for the winter months as well....and I'd probably look like a redneck with duct tape protecting the sides of the car and winter tires+ steelie rims :D . The Jeep will be a nice comprise of practicality and outright fun...as well, it'll be a nice change from driving pickup trucks.

Finally getting mine next week. Just received word that the Jeep is on a train from Windsor to Calgary and should be in the city by the weekend, so now I'm getting pretty excited.

38 but sneaking up on 39...

Purchased 5/31/06. First real performance ride. Having a blast driving and answering questions at stop lights and gas pumps. These rides are really starting to get a reputation.

Nothing but respect for the under 30 crowd but dang...all I could afford at 21 years old was a Chevy Beretta. You guys are probably too young to remember that model but trust me, it was not a $40K hot-rod.

Thanks DMX for the SRT's!

No kidding Klr! I am seeing lots of guys in the 19-26 year old range on this thread. I was eating ramon noodles and chasing co-eds at that age. We'd scrape together cash for beer. Drove an old Datsun pick-up and a 260Z in those days....Yes, they used to be called Datsuns!! Either the trust fund must be good or I'm in the wrong line of work!
Oh yeah, 45 years old this year and still an adolescent in many ways! I refuse to grow old gracefully.

I'm 57 going on 20. my first material love is aircraft followed by fast cars. my first muscle car was a 1968 hemi roadrunner, i paid $3900.00 out the door. gas was 29 cents a gallon. the srt 8 reminds me a lot of the older true muscle cars only it digs so much harder and rides a little harder. high speed feel and twisty feel is fantastic for the type of machine it is. an example is that the cobra will out pull and corner the srt8 (not really a fair comparison) but it is a lot of work to throw it around. the srt8 is pretty sophisticated in its handling especially for the type of vehicle it is.

45 years old here... but the wife says I'm just a big kid! Last ride was an '03 Hemi Ram RCSB with a GSM blower - 530 HP at the crank. The SRT8 is lighter and MUCH faster than that 3 ton P/U ever was.

Was I was 18-19 I had a POS '75 Mustang "2+2" 4-banger...

Living at home with his parents if he's smart! lol :D That would certainly help. I drove a '76 POS Grand Prix when I was 18. He's driving an SRT8? God love'm! ;)

47, but remarkably immature for my age at times - usually behind the wheel at stoplights and on open stretches of highway. This GC for me is the orange GTO Judge my Dad owned and said you can't drive because you are too immature (he was right). As it turns out my Mom said they used to go out for high speed runs up north and even had to elude the cops once. I'm now my old man (he died at 54 - ALS) and have my kids in the sensible Honda Civic while I press the pedal I never could as a young man.

24 here as of last month... no SRT8 yet currently in a 2k4 Infinit G35 Coupe

the Infiniti was the first car i've had that i was really into modding... but the amount of performance return you got on the mod investment wasn't worthwhile. getting to 400hp required 10k worth of twin turbo kit, and then you could easily grenade the motor at any time. i figured why not take the G35 back to stock, sell off the mods, and trade her for something that has 400hp stock (and seats 5, and has AWD lol)

funny that the SRT8 would be more "practical" than my current ride

and incase you guys were wondering... i currently do live at home, and i'm in law school. i am fortunate enough to have a weekend job as a DJ that pays pretty well (anywhere from $300-1000 per week, depending on the season, most of which is cash)

24 here as well. I spent 6 months in Iraq and figured if I'm only going to be able to drive something for about 10 months, then have to let it sit in storage for 6, I might as well get something that was worth while to drive...

I almost broke down and bought a TBSS ($$), but I was lucky enough to get back in the states right at the end of EP (that and I knew if I had bought a TBSS, I would've been sick anytime I thought about a GCSRT8)!!
