There are a number of threads on this topic. The cause of the problem is unknown at this time. How many miles do you have? Some have had the problem go away or lessened with new tires. Some have had driveshafts (front and rear) replaced. If you go to the dealer...please be sure to let us know what your experience is.

You really got to search. I swear, there are literally 10 threads. But since this is such a widespread problem, it deserves a sticky until then.

First, check your tires. Second, check your wheels. Third, road force balance. Fourth, check suspension. Lastly, rear driveshaft. We are still waiting on the SRT engineers to release a TSB for the highway mph vibration. They even said it's either the tires/wheels or rear driveshaft. Many dealers would be reluctant to change it unless they have solid proof that's the culprit. But it's not always as simple as that.

mine started shaking real bad at 20k, looked under the car and noticed that both front tires on the inside was completely gone. like some cut 1.5" of my tread off, new front tires and problem went away.

That's up to you. I'd suggest the following tires in 275/315: Toyo ST II; they are A/S, Bridgestone Dueler (available in runflat for an extra $80 a tire); A/S too, Michelin Latitude, A/S too, or if you got the coin the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx, they are runflats, but it's a Summer only tire.

Easiest way to search for the 275/315 is by using the BMW X5 with the 20" wheels.

In stock size, there pretty much is only the Nitto 420S.

I like my Hankooks. They are beefier, taller, and a little bit wider. :D
