I noticed a couple of days ago that my rear diff is leaking out of the drain plug on the bottom of the case (side where driveshaft enters diff). I thought I had fixed it but it still seems to be leaking a small amount. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have a leak in the rear of the differential where the driveshaft goes in. Started leaking at about 1500 miles and brought it to dealership. They said it needed a new seal and had to order it. A couple weeks later it stopped leaking for a few weeks so I cancelled my appointment, but then it started leaking again at 2000 miles. I'll be getting it fixed (hopefully:rolleyes: ) when I go in for my first oil change in a few weeks and will update. ;)

That sounds more like a pinion seal. Mine is actually leaking out of the drain plug. I'm going to take it in on monday.
