I noticed in some pics there seems to be a "Tow Haul" light on the instrument cluster of the 2006's and I don't have this on my 2007. Any idea if I am correct about this and why this would be?

I dont think there is a tow haul mode for the tranny for any year, but maybe in 2006 when they designed the cluster they did'nt decide on what to do. Better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it.Then in 2007 they decided they did'nt need it so they left it out.The 2006 and 2007 drive train is exactly the same.Thats just my guess anyway:rolleyes: Kevin

The Tow/Haul mode is a feature used on the non-SRT8 Grand Cherokee models. Essentially it is the same as the "Overdrive off" button that was on the previous gen Grand Cherokee shift handle, it locks the tranny out of 4th & 5th gear.
