I posted this elsewhere, but figure this is the best place to post for this issue (apologies for the duplicate post):

I bought the wheel and tire extended warranty, does anybody know whether this would cover the full cost of rim if I "drove through a pot hole" and got some serious curb rash??? $1300+ for a replacement rim seems absurd considering the 5 year wheel and tire warranty was only $350.

There's two different's one, one will only cover up to $250. per tire and the other one is unlimited up to $5000. check your paperwork for standard or gold..

I have the rim coverage on my wife’s Tahoe. Don’t ask me how but she hit a trailer with her rim while backing up. Took a huge chunk out of the rim. Chevrolet told me the warranty does not cover cosmetic damage I had to pony up to replace it myself. Because of that I elected not to get the same coverage on the Jeep when I purchased it.

have someone pull a vip report and check your warranty. easy fix.
pull the labor operation from chrysler on dealerconnect and check to see. it all depends on the vip report

good luck
