: My PPP 426 finally lives

The other day I picked up my jeep from AJ (Hemituner) and it truly is a monster now.

The recipe:
PPP 426 short block, molly pistons, 10.3:1
PPP Stage 4 pro-series cam
PPP Stage 3 Heads
Billet Main Caps
PPP Ported/coated Intake Manifold Portmatched to 90mm TB
under-drive pulley
Arrington 90mm NO2 TB
Paramount Transmission with Stage 2 Valve body
Paramount Flex Plate
Paramount/Pro-Torque Converter
RDP TCM

Power Porter Performance:
To start I would like to say I would recommend PPP to anyone looking for a new power plant for their Jeep. Although I hit a few speed bumps along the way when dealing with PPP I must say that now Andy has moved on and Jeremy is back running the show I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for one bad arse 426. Some major delays held up the progress of my build but after Jeremy was back in control he made sure I got everything in a timely fashion and worked with me to make up for any problems that were encountered along the way. Jeremy is on the ball when it comes to customer service. Anyone who may have had any reservations about PPP due to any bad reviews you have read (usually only in regard to customer service and meeting deadlines) I recommend you give Jeremy a call and give PPP a shot, those times are over. I am proud to have a PPP motor under my hood and given the chance to do it again I wouldn't go with any any one else except PPP.
(For what its worth this is not meant to be anything bad against Andy. I am sure there was more going on with the reorganization there than any of us know and therefore there is more to the increase in customer service and delivery of long awaited parts than just one man choosing to move onto other endeavors. I wish Andy the best of luck.)

As far as the product I am very pleased. Even AJ (Hemituner) was impressed with the power the 426 put out when he had it on the dyno. They cut no corners when it comes to the quality of their product.

Paramount Performance Products (Builder Bill):
What can I say there is no better man to do business with than Bill. He makes a top notch product and stands by it 100%.

Westbury Jeep Hemi Shop (AJ Hemituner)
When it came to putting everything together no better man to trust than AJ. He runs a top notch show, knows his stuff, and topped it off with one hell of a tune. He was always quick to return my phone calls and would not accept anything but perfection when it came to the install and the tune.

THE VERDICT:
The jeep has become one hell of a monster. It pulls strong and hard and amazes me every time I hit the throttle. AJ had it on the dyno twice and it made 471hp and 469hp (awd dyno). I haven't made it to the track yet but I am really looking forward to see what kind of times it will pull.

Soon to come: dyno graph, pics, vids, time slips!!

I see some blame was placed on the employee that is no longer there. Even more reason for said employee to not be there.

Congrats on the new found power.

Wondering if yours was the Red one on the lift or the silver one. Congrats on the new setup. We're all eager to see the dyno sheets and your track runs.

I am not placing blame on one person just commenting that once someone else took over my phone calls were returned in a timely manor and I was able to get things done. I do not wish to get involved in the what ever politics lead to the change but just wanted to give Jeremy credit for making good on any problems that were encountered along the way.

and mine was the silver one

Great news!
What do you think of the converter...it was spec'd to your mods.
Streetability & PERFORMANCE!
With your power it should stall about 3600+ when measure with a tranny brake.

Foot brake testing is worthless for us as 4 tires digging, it is hard to get more than 2400 or so.
The pleasure was mine dealing with you and AJ.:)

I am itching to get to the track but it looks like it might be a couple of weeks. Things are pretty crazy between work and my roommate moving out.

Bill
The converter is great. It appears to be a perfect match. Being a daily driver its amazing how such a monster of a motor with a big cam is so streatable for everyday driving. I wish I could comment on the flash stall but honestly all the launches I have done I have been too giddy over the power to carefully watch the tach.

Despi, you have to make the SRT8 vs TBSS event in November. We may need a Meet-N-Greet in CT :D

Hmmm I never raced a Bracket event before. I will have to see if I can make it.
