: New GC SRT8 Owner, thanks Champion!

Just wanted to introduce myself, I just bought a 2007 Black GC SRT8 from Don at Champion last night. The whole experience was quick and painless, I had the check in hand before I even showed up, handed it to the sales manager, and took off in my new ride. The choices were between a BMW 335, a Mercedes C class, and the Jeep. The decision was made once I took a test drive :D I'll attach a pic that Don took (I didn't smile) and hopefully more later. Anyone who is thinking about buying one of these, run don't walk to Champion and ask for Don. Just checking in,

Congrats on the new ride...Last night, I called Don and spoke with him while you were at the dealership...he is working on getting my 07 GCSRT8 Steel Blue (ok, my wife's) delivered here to Texas...adding a couple mods before delivery (MOPAR Corsa exhaust and intake, Ipod Integration)...so hopefully should have it within a week or so...

Ahh yes, he told me he had another member on the phone. You made the right decision to go with Don, he was great to work with. Your wife will love the ride, I can't wipe the smile off my face today. Is it 4:00 yet? I can't wait to get out and drive around for a while in the unusually nice weather :cool: I'll definitely be doing some of those mods, I just got out of a Subaru WRX that I modded to the hilt (320 whp, 12.2 1/4 best time) so I'm enjoying the "stock-ness" of the Jeep for now.

Never took the Sy to the track.....:( Most guys with bone-stock trucks like mine was run, in the neighborhood of 13.3 to 13.8's give or take.... The boost launch is really NASTY!!! I'm working closely with the new owner who happens to be a good friend of mine. He is going to have the heads re-done and a couple of other minor mods....then we'll get to HRP for a little test-n-tune session.....:D
