JuneWelcome Jb, If you can locate one on a lot that has the goodies you want and has not been used as a demo, it should not make any difference.
Anything over 15 miles I would suspect has been "used", less than that can usually be attributed to normal movement in holding yards and on the lot.

Know what you want, what you are willing to pay, and start calling around...

I used Jeep's website and did inventory searches at dealerships around my zip code. I looked as far as 200 miles away. I was able to locate the truck in the color I wanted.

Off the lot purchase time = 1 hour

Order purchase time = plus or minus 3 months or more, sometimes much more.

I say if you can find one on a lot with the options you want at a price you're willing to pay - go for it!
