Hey all,
I'm trying to remove my roof rack delete kit so I can add the standard roof rack from a Grand Cherokee.
Can anyone recommend a solution to removing this doublestick tape without damaging the paint?

GooGone maybe?
Use a blow dryer and keep peeling.. Going to have to have patients.
Apply heat and peel. Be prepared for some blistered thumbs.

let it sit in some hot summer sun for an hour and peel. post some pics when ur all done with the rack
As mentioned, hairdryer,(keep dryer moving and don't hold in one spot too long) and as you heat, scrape with plastic tool only.........or use old credit card or something similar.
This an excellent product to clean up residue with also. Soak tape well to loosen adhesive underneath. Available at majority of auto stores.

Googone is your best bet .. get the thicker gel formula and let it sit for the day or over night .. Safest way to not fade the paint .. PS use a micro fiber cloth to wipe it off and make sure you pull the tag off the cloth so that doesnt scratch your ride also! hope that helps

WD40 gets my vote. GooGone sticks and the fumes can't be too good for the brain cells.
