We will meet up at Park Meadows Mall at 11am, hang out, shoot the sh!t and once the stragglers roll in, i'll hand out directions and we will head off to our SECRET destination..hehehe!

Come prepared, bring your camera, your lunch money and be ready to hang out with your SRT brethren for most of a lazy Sept saturday!

Holding the date open but can't commit yet. Been doing some shows and activities with the 3M bunch out of COS and they are talking about a road trip that same weekend. Should know more by this weekend. It will be getting a little close to potential early snow in the Rockies about that time and it is usually prime Aspen (leaf Peepers) touring time. Sounds like fun (wait... did I just say potential snow? :eek:

i'd say 1/2 a day at least. its almost a 2hr drive to our destination where we'll eat lunch, bs and what not.

Hey - not ringing any bells. I did talk to someone about an all black SRT8 in Castle Rock a couple of months ago and sure it was yours.

It stock right now but would like to lower it! Mine is Modern Blue Pearl Coat paint and really like the color.

Definitely like the look for yours and looking forward to talking more about it!

People start marking calendars for the Oct. trip to Vegas....hopefully we can get some West Coast (CA) guys and other surrounding states to meet up as well...thinkin atleast 12 Jeeps for this one...if not Oct, then 1st week in Nov when the SEMA show is going on....may be there. ;)

yo, what's up with your Jeep mayn? nice to see you brought it to Paul....he treating you right and giving you good service?

Had a great day at High Plains but had to cut it short due to transmission fluid leaking from under the Jeep :confused:. Anyway I headed down to Paul Saturday afternoon (he is the ONLY guy I would trust with the SRT8) and he's looking at it now. Got my fingers and toes crossed but he thinks that when I was driving the beast as hard as I did (around corners, braking, etc) the fluid may have expanded and broken the seal...the traction control light was pretty much on the entire time on the track? Anyway by the time I drove down to Paul's shop the leak was almost gone compared to my second session where it was leaking like crazy....too bad their is no way to check the level on the Jeep without breaking it down (damn chrysler!). Hopefully it's something small otherwise I won't have the SRT8 for the meet. But no matter what happens it will be a better Jeep after Paul fixes it so I don't leak any more fluid on the road course!

There is a relief valve on the transmission maybe it was coming from there

have you ever had your rear main seal checked/replaced? this could be the culprit....had brought my Jeep to what used to be the Medved Jeep dealership right here in town to have them make suer the T fluid was where it needed to be after i had done a torque converter install....the dealership checked it, said it was way low and put a lot of fluid in...i was watching them do it (and to my knowledge i did see them doing it incorrectly, i questioned this and they had said they were doing it correctly) needless to say, i drove it home got it in the garage and boy did it leak out good overnight...brought it back in to find the dealership had overfilled it quite a bit.....

Roger that sucks! I spoke with Paul and it looks like the leak was with the coupler hose on the passenger side, easy fix and thank god I have the extended warranty! :D What's going on with Vegas????

HOw about a hint... which side of the mall (direction) is best to enter or approach the parking structure or which store is it near. You have some sort of contact to get SEMA tickets? I had an impression that tickets to the show were limited to people in the industry and car dealers. If this thing is a go, it may be a good idea to get rooms, tickets, etc. set up now before things get crazy. That place is a Zoo. Also, I assume you are talking about driving but there may be a couple who would prefer to fly over those snowy mountains. The trip is a great idea, however.
