Yes, a custom made converter, BILLET stator, wonderful warranty.

Ok...I'm really tired of replacing trannys due to crummy converters failing.
I just replaced my 6th tranny (out of 74 built from January 1st) due to another failed converter.
DAMN. WAYYYY to many failed converters.

I have been working behind the scenes on this project (as some of my testers know) for quite a while.
Along with the wonderful crew at ProTorque AND with AJ's input, I now have a new line of converters for the Hemi's.

The basics:
* All furnaced brazed (too funny, they come furnace brazed from Mercedes ;))
* Custom tuned per application, no "off the shelf converter".
* Billet stator. This is for strength as well as tuning purposes. The CNC machine can create an infinite number of combinations along with using different combinations of pumps.
* Hemi Orange!

Ok, the big question...what stall speeds are available?
Haa, don't get me started on the "brake stall" stuff.
Brake stall is extremely useful for checking your brakes!
The only true way to check stall speed is with a tranny brake.
The current converter combination I have installed stalls at 3000 exactly with my tranny brake. I will use a MUCH higher stall with the twin turbos.

I just need as much info about your ride as possible to get as close as I can on matching the converter to your power.

Ok, the one year warranty....
Obviously, if you destroy my converter, you get a fresh converter, as long as it was NOT due to a tranny failure that took out the converter.
Also, I will pay you $200 towards the install of the new converter. That's confidence!
I don't care how much power you push through the converter either.
My testers have the most powerful beasts out there and have had no failures.

If you purchase my tranny + converter, and either fails in the 1st year, again, you get a fresh tranny + converter AND $400 towards the install.

Ok the price....
$850 + core + shipping.

Please don't confuse this with an off the shelf converter that's fins are sadly bent over with pliers.

Sorry, I don't talk about things before they are tested are ready for release.
Ok, all that you have bought:eek::eek:I could have one shipped to the West Coast by next weekend.
I DO know your mods! LOL.
This would still quality for the $400 + new tranny and converter if either one craps out, even if purchased at separate times in your case.:)

Hey, Thats not fair! They use Vice Grisp and a Chisle thank you very much! LOL :-) Glad to see this coming to fruition Bill. Nothing can help a performance vehicle out as well as a good converter! Even a stock vehicle can see a good gain from a good converter. :bigthumb:

Thanks Chris....
Shipping these all over the country, I can't wait for the back to back 1/4 time feedback from these guys.

I'm data logging on mine with the tranny brake, engine rpm vs. tranny input speed rpm etc.
That is the way I can help you guys spec out the perfect converter for your ride.
The aluminum stator is billet, so what I do with ProTorque is change the CNC program for machining the stator as well as pump selection.
Oh, I use a Mercedes sprag (one way clutch) in the stator, it is the best available.

BTW...the driveability is great!
