 Today I just noticed that both front tires on my GC SRT8 are worn bald on the inside egde. This should not occur after only 4,000 miles. I plan to call the dealer tomorrow; have them check the front end and replace the tires. Has anyone else had this problem?

Sounds like this might be just one of those things we will have to deal with. I don't know the camber spec for the fronts but I imagine it has quite a bit of negative camber. You have to remember that this is a heavy vehicle that is designed to handle extrememly well for it's weight, height, and size and it's running on high perf tires and AWD doesn't help the situation. Please post you results from the dealer.

I've scheduled the vehicle to go to the dealer on Thursday & will provide an update when I hear what they say.

I am new to the GC scene....as I plan of ordering one as soon as the SRT-4 is ready to sell....but what tire is equiped standard and sizing for the 8? Man, I could just look it up, but like interaction between members on a forum designed to help others.

midnight, you sound ever lazier than me!

anyway I just copied this from my srt8 "notebook":

Stock Front - 255/45r20 Goodyear Eagle RS-A EMT d=29.1"/73.75mm rim=8-9.5" tread=8.3"
Stock Rear - 285/40r20 Goodyear Eagle RS-A EMT d=29"/73.6mm rim=9.5-11" tread=10"

Haha, yeah. Thanks for the info. I am guessing that they have NO effect on the transfer case and if someone is to change sizing they would need to match them exactly in any UPSIZING they do to prevent any damage?

I know the DSMs and Subies are like that. If you run a different sizing they run the risk of burning up parts.

Thanks for the info!

Well there is a specific tolerance differentials are designed to take, but its always best to keep the tires as close as possible. I plus sized my SRT8 with new tires for a smoother ride and ended up with a tighter tolerance front to rear than stock!
