i ordered my black gc srt-8 with option group 1 on jan 20. i paid msrp. up until yesterday i had been using this forum as a crutch, if you will, to help pass the time.

well, the wait is over, the vehicle is now a reality. i picked it up yesterday and since then have put 100 miles on it. it is everything that i've read it would be and it has been fun getting to know this vehicle...or should i say monster.

i don't really post on forums but felt it wouldn't be right not to in this case. as i waited for those 4 long months this forum helped be realize and understand that i was not alone. i was not crazy for buying a vehicle without ever seeing it. i was not crazy because i couldn't wait to see the next posted picture from a new happy owner. i was not crazy for waiting month after month without status change.

thanks to this forum i knew that my srt-8 would come and i knew that others were going through the same thing i was. hang on if you're out there and in the same situation i was. after long months of no status change all of a sudden it seemed like my vehicle was built, shipped, and at the dealership.

now i'm driving it, and so far...it has been worth the wait. thanks to all.

Congrats, and welcome to our small family. I bought mine sight unseen as well, and had never even driven one till it was delivered to my front door.

Could'nt agree more just got mine this week sight unseen and its been nothing but fun,i ordered mine on Jan 25th and discovering the forums has been informaqtive, interesting and supportive. I am now the proud owner of a blk GC SRT8
