I've heard of most 09's going for right at $40k, and have seen a few go for $37k/$38k range.. Then someone said they passed up an 09 for $34,995. :eek:

Bought mine in May from Westbury Jeep for $42k out the door, it's my 3rd jeep from them. Great experience, great service and they are a supporting vendor who is VERY mod friendly. In fact, they had a RED one in their showroom last month with CAI, Cat-back and TUNE for sale plus there was an Arrington motor for show in the showroom. Definitely talk to them then talk to AJ :D

This is SOOOOOO true. I swear some days in-between washes I just quick wash the lift gate just so I'm not embarrassed driving around. :eek:

Man, I'm catching heat all over this forum for passing on something I flat couldn't afford. Some people must have some seriously screwed up priorities or a money tree in the back yard. Me, I've got a wife and two daughters that come long before my needs and desires. I can't believe I'd come on this forum and point blank be called a "dumb ass" for making a smart financial decision. Some of you folks need to check yourselves. Seems like some pretty good people on this forum, but there are a few that do their best to run the newbies off as quick as they can.

For those that want the help, I got that offer through the local Credit Union new car buying service. Down here in Florida they have $6500 in rebates right now, and the dealer offered invoice plus rebates on a base model SRT. Nothing magic or fake there. Sheesh.

If you are referring to the stripped '09 model for $34,995, then I don't blame you for passing it up, even if it would have fit into your budget.

yeah its 20 miles wide and 100 miles long :D:D Yes i tried the obvious. I found one dealer that has one. just looking see if there is anything else out there.

The silver and modern blue ones are both gone. I went by that dealer (Smithhaven), and they have one '08 left, but it wasn't what I was looking for (no nav), and I wasn't to happy with the salesman (which is luck of the draw). The red one they had listed, was also gone.

I'm also looking for a dealer on LI with one, but haven't found one yet.

Justin? He was a heavy set guy. Started off real nice, when he took me on the lot to look at the car, chatted about a few of the other cars there, and all was well. But then I started talking price, trading in my truck, etc, and he god that D-bag attitude. Maybe because I'm young, or maybe because he was just a D-bag. But I was treated real rudely. When we went to talk price, he was hesitant, then I started talking about actually buying it, and he went from hesitant to "give me your money now" type attitude, which I really didn't like.

Made me really regret the gas I wasted driving out to St. James or wherever it is :rolleyes:
