Took the Jeep out to Sacramento raceway for the first time. First run which was the best ran a 13.224 @ 102, second run I let off early ran a 13.513 @ 94, third run 13.371 @ 98. Man this thing is a beast! Got lots of attention. People all night long coming up to me, "what did you do to that thing to make it run like that?" and "man what does that thing have in it". One guy said when he saw me he figured I'd take off real slow and said he couldn't believe it launched like that. The first run was w/ traction control on in D w/ no power braking. 2nd run w/ traction control off in D, and the third same as #2 and I power braked a little but I had an over rev by the transmission shiffting from 2 to 3.

Some fun isn't it! I am heading to Rockingham dragway with a couple of my superintendents for a track rental day. The Hemi is a blast to play with!

Sacramento Raceway in Sacramento,CA. Weather was 64-62 with a south wind to about 5 mph.

congrats on great runs. I presume you are stock now? I am surprised you got better time with traction control on and just in D. Is that what you recommend for even 0-60 runs? Thanks!

Yup all stock. My best 60' time came with traction control off. I think my third run might have been the best if the tranny wouldn't have hesitated shifting into 3rd.

We already know my car is faster, you couldn't even beat me off the line. HA!

And to the other guys, I know you couldn't have known, but it was just a joke relax. I'm basically the one who told him to get the Jeep. I love the SRTs. I don't even like Ford, I'm just an owner of one, lol.

thats funny cuz my older brother has the new mustang GT and he always says my truck is slow. I have lined with him and everytime he always tends to be in my rear view. Well I get to enjoy while i can because he is about to get stroked and get his sts twin turbo installed.

Mustangs suck.......:p
