Hey...new to this forum...but not forums in general. I'm currently on Swedespeed for my S60R, and JK forum for my 07 Wrangler, etc. I'm a minor modifer and avid fanatic. heh heh

I'm thinking about buying an SRT8 GC. I was going to buy one last year but all the dealers were getting over sticker and the residual messed up the lease making it over priced. So I passed and got the S60R and the Wrangler BOTH for less than the SRT8 was leasing for. Can you believe it?

Now I'm moving and only need one car.

Since you guys own them - any persistent issues with the cars, or anything I should be aware of sans terrible gas mileage?

I'm curious because now I see so many for sale on Ebay, plus some on Swapalease and Leasetrader. I don't mind minor things - just looking for anything major.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I think you'll find any problems are minor ones.

But good luck getting decent lease numbers. I'm not sure if it's the money factor or the residual, but the monthly lease numbers I've seen have been silly.

Actually both......

2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4WD 4dr Wagon SRT8 - February Rates

24 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 56% of MSRP – .00298 Base Money Factor Buy Rate
36 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 48% of MSRP – .00323 Base Money Factor Buy Rate
48 mo/15k mi – Residual Value 39% of MSRP – .00387 Base Money Factor Buy Rate

Add 2% to Residual Value for 12k mi/yr and 3% for 10k mi/yr on all terms

Also, there isn't that many on Ebay currently.

Looks like they'd prefer to NEVER lease one.

Thanks for the input.

Yeah...they lease TERRIBLY. Such a crime...if anyone actually leases one at those rates...

There are only about 10 on Ebay as of today...which seems kind of a lot considering they don't make that many.

Now...who wants my R? kidding...

Now to decide which color...

Not really, we're well into the 2nd model year at this point.

And while they don't build a ton of them, its not "that" limited either.

I wish i knew the actual production numbers. On my R, they only make about 3000 sedans and 2500 wagons a year. Which is not that many...

Anyway...your help has been appreciated.

Gotta love limited productions. There were only 1000 of my T5-R made in '95. :D
