I am sure it's been discussed but I just realized that they started to paint the front and rear bumper valence. I really like the unpainted look with brigher colors to see the contrast. Which do you guys prefer?

What's with Jeep - keep making things worse with colors. For instance, I liked the inferno red, and boom they change it to dark red. I really wanted the jet black and boom, they change it to dirty black. And now I settle for silver, and there is no contrast with bumpers. Sorry just ranting.

Personally, I like the painted look better, but I think Jeep took the cheap route in just painting the textured areas. I think they should have smoothed it to match.

Ouch, so it's just painted without even smoothing?? Well, glad to hear most of u guys like the painted look. I would have like a bit of contrast.

Mine is an 06, so mine is still black. I like the look, but I like the monochrome look better. I just wish they'd have smoothed it. I figure I'll eventually smooth and paint mine.

The monochrome look is better. Since mine is black, made not much difference to me, but one could is my vote. I don't like body side mouldings black instead of car colour and I don't like rocker panels that don't match the paint colour of the vehicle. Looks unfinished to me.

I will take either look as long as there is no license plate holes drilled into the bumper -

Monochromatic is preferred! Looks more uniformed and finsihed off IMO.

I'll break the trend, I prefer unpainted. I like the contrast of the two different textures.

It adds deffinition to the shape of the bumper. Though either way it's still a kick @ss ride.

I think painted to match looks better on silver, but unpainted looks better on red. I haven't seen the blue up close yet and black doesn't matter.
