I am a relative novice but would like to become educated in regards to the various types of cam's available for the SRT8 and how much increased HP and Torque they can produce. If I plan on keeping my Jeep for many years and many miles I need some direction for the best option without destroying the engine. Ideally I am looking for off the mark out and out acceleration.
I love my Fri little boy cam.
Frank racing all the way! Sound is great! power is outstanding!!
Have you checked out the thread titled Camshafts?

+1 for checking out the sticky thread about the camshafts. There are quite a few options we have available and a good amount of information in that thread.
I went with the FRI Sparrow cam for a few reasons...one being local to the guys at FRI. I have been very happy with the results of the cam, now if the Africa Safari heat will go away I can get out to the track and see what the differences are before and after the cam. :(

Contact Power Ported with your goals and details on your particular combination. They can help you decide on which of their standard profiles will work best. If it's a real oddball package and need something custom, I can get together with them and make sure you get the correct design for your toy.

There's a lot of questions you need to answer first? Do you want it to remain a stealth daily driver? Are you going to run stock heads? Do you have any other mods?
