Ive been trying to figure out which exhaust is right for me for about a month now. Money doesnt matter its just there are a lot to choose from. I narrowed it down to corsa, borla s and bb. But changed my mind about bb after hearing about issues people have had. i also like the stainless works one now also. I know either one of those three would sound good. Everyone swears by borla s but i honostly dont think I like the way it sounds. I THINK I finally made up my mind and am gonna go with corsa. thanks to everyone who has helped me in past posts. I came off of having 2 turbo volvos and there were only 2 choices to choose from for exhausts so it was way easier

Have you looked into Borla "T"?

The Borla S sounds good in person. Nice rumble to it if that's what you're looking for, low deep sound.

I do have a Borla T that will be coming off and going up for sale :D

Those are the only two I've heard in person so far :)

If u could send me a clip of the borla t and I like it I would take it off your hands. I live in Illinois also. I live in chicago though

I might have been the one to sway that decision....... ;)

Money doesnt matter

This statement always makes me laugh...

Seriously...performance wise they are all going to be the same (nothing IMO). It should come to sound and what you are looking for. The SW exhaust is not on alot of Jeeps but the ones they are on sound good, the Borla S is popular but some complain of drone and the "T" is just quiter and the Corsa is alot like the "T" but a little more sound

I was going to go with the Borla T but found a similiar way around the stock system and the same sound (as the T) and for WAY less $$$

The T has less drone than stock and a nicer tone than stock.

Stock doesn't really have much of a good tone outside the Jeep, IMO.

Not my Jeep....but here it is on a Jeep:

Yep...it was Stainless Works or Borla S, and since I haven't heard the Stainless Works in person and the Borla S sounds badass and looks great with the 5" tips you helped me decide :D

Just ordered up the Borla S right now

seems like such a redundant question... if someone never plans on going any further than light mods a catback to me is a complete waste of money... maybe im wrong.. i just dont see any benefit.. if you are certain you will be into heavy mods one day than i can completely understand

Looks and sound are my reasoning for the Borla S :D

With the Borla T I did feel maybe a slight improvement over the stock system.

Totally agree. No performance gains for me until I got ahold of a Predator.

I like the looks and sound of my B&B. Corsa and Borla looks sweet too but can't really say though that I would swap out mine for one if sound was the key factor.

I just recently called in a warranty exchange on my 3 year old B&B for the cracked tips. I haven't had an issue prior, so I can't reference how folks were treated before, but I can say that now they know that they "own" the problem. Their customer service rep told me he would check if they had a return system to refurbish w/ new tips (which they did). Box arrived 2 weeks later with two shiny muffler and tips. Swapped them out, put the old set into the same box and slapped on the return label.

I was told that the split tip issue is from a couple factors:

- Sub-contracted tips, which is no longer the case

- Double-walled tips were originally welded on inside and out. When the tips got hot the walls expand differently, and without a place to relieve the pressure the tips edge starts to stress crack. New tips are welded only on the inside wall. Outside wall is free-floating.

Now that quality concern (if any) is out of the way, the things that makes me like my B&B vs. the other catbacks:

- The tips protrude out past the bumper a few inches vs. lining up like stock. If you like rubbing your legs up against the bumper while loading and unloading, better buy a case of burn cream:)

- My Curt class II hitch adapter fits with minor mods. I believe there is no chance for this with Corsa or Borla. Do I use it alot? No. but it's nice to have just incase.

- The sound is awesome!
Good luck

Once you have been bit by the mod bug---alot of logic and reasoning behind things goes out the window........good for the beast but bad for the bank account
