I had my Jeep at the dealership to get the rear window washer repaired (the hose from the pump fell off) and they performed the windshield howl "rapid response transmittal". I never complained about any windshield howl but they performed the RRT anyway. When I was in for the TCM flash the same delaership would not perform the update because they could not identify any problem with my transmission failing to downshift appropriately. WTF? At least the windshield RRT probably won't hurt anything.

Go to another dealer and tell them you are having the 1-2 shift hesitation. If they don't make the change, find yet another dealer. One will eventually want your business.

I did the rear fogs also it was easy about 1-2 hours being very neet,Its cost about $15, electrical tape,#16 wire,Hopkins plug,wire loom.I did this method.http://www.***********/forums/showthread.php?t=2909&highlight=rear+fogs+wiring

Barho - I actually did get the TCM flash in December at a Jeep dealer in Virginia, without much hassle.
