you really need to get your hands on some 10" wide wheels for the back. Looks awesome though. Mine hasn't been that clean in months. Damn winter.
That looks great! Boy... I sure dig those tail lamps.

Yes, in Saudi Arabia

So what was the official reason the euro models didn't get the wider rears? To balance out the other good stuff they got that we didn't?:)
^^ has something to do with front and rear tire sizes being the same.
Ink Pump 03-05-2007, 01:01 PM Looks real nice - weather looks fantastic!
srt8 for me 03-05-2007, 02:29 PM Yes, in Saudi Arabia

maxxjeep 03-05-2007, 02:46 PM Yeah, the rear wheels...are those your stockers?
they do seem thin.
turbotyphoon69 03-05-2007, 03:41 PM Man I need more Arab friends like you guys, all my Rabs drive the Range Rover Sports here.....
HoustonSRT-8 03-05-2007, 04:06 PM Yeah, the rear wheels...are those your stockers?

Yes, foreign models came with 245/45_20 on 9" wheels all the way around.

If this is true, then why didn't they use 255s all around instead of 245s since 255s are stock fronts for us?
srt8 for me 03-06-2007, 01:32 AM Yes, foreign models came with 245/45_20 on 9" wheels all the way around.
no 8" wheels all around to bad for us

My bet is it's because of parts availability. Two different sizes would make it a bit more costly. Better to have one size fits all.... :)
Surprisingly enough .... I used the seat heaters this winter..... One feature that probably isn't really needed here in Saudi.....

^^^ I agree, it has to do with European regulations of having same size wheels
Looks real nice - weather looks fantastic!
Thanks, yes the weather is very nice for the last 2 weeks

Again, why didn't they go with 9" wheels all the way around instead of spending extra funds tooling for a new shorter width?
OurZoo 03-06-2007, 07:37 PM Nice pics. I would definitely go with a wider tire for the rear. Just looks meaner! Love the tailights and wish I had the extra leather...

I have no idea why they picked the 8 instead of 9
idealrides 03-07-2007, 07:32 AM BMW and Mercedes both offer cars with staggered wheels in european countries. I think it has to do with cost... the SRT euro 8" wide wheels aren't even polished, they're painted.

I actully kind like that look on the silver GC.
Dont know why?
01moparbk 03-16-2007, 09:27 PM European JGC SRT8 wheels look diffeerent then the US versions the looks as if the center of the rim comes out more as the us looks as if the center goes inward.
