I'm not a fan of black wheels when comparing to chrome, but they look good. I also like the red SRT (nice touch). That should pop even more when you do the calipers. I think the rest of your chrome needs to go "hasta la bye bye" to complete the whole stealth look.

That looks very nice. All you need now is to replace that stock antenna. Anyone know a place in Chicago that does that.

looks great where did you get this done? do they specialize in wheels or can any paint shop do it?

Thanks

I also think that if you are going to go black on the rims, you need to get rid of the chrome moldings to complete the look.

Just wondering why they only did the face and not the whole wheel? Seems like it would look much cleaner if the inside was black as well. That silver area gets kinda nasty with brake dust.

I like it a lot, if I could find another set of wheels I would do this.

Im not sure what your looking at, but they did do the whole wheel. Your probably seeing dust, cuz i sure as hell am not gonna reach in there every time i clean my car:eek: i definately am going to eventually get the trim done, and maybbe the billet antenna. not sure if i wanna sacrifice my quality for show.

That's the first thing I do when I wash the ride. I put on some dishwashing gloves and clean the wheels (inside the rim and calipers) included.

Dude the inside of those wheels are not powdercoated! I'm talking about the inside where the caliper is. Take a pic up close through the spokes.

It's possible, but I highly doubt the shop purposely masked off the inside of each wheel to not powdercoat them. It would be more work. I'm sure you're just seeing the dirt and grime.

Dont get me wrong, it looks badass. Maybe I'm just seeing things...lol.

it is MORE work to do the whole wheel because the entire wheel is clearcoated, so they probably taped off this inside. I powdercoated my wheels, and had to sandblast the whole wheel because of the ridiculous amount of clear coat! But, they do look badass, like my twin, my wheels are just non gloss, batman murder style

LOL !!! K they are powder coated all the way thru, its just brake dust. If any one wants to volunteer to come clean inside my wheels, let me know:D I take my **** thru a car wash, dont have much time with 4 kids and work to do a hand wash. And they did have to sand blast the wheels cuz some of the clearcoat was chipping off. but they forgot to charge me for that LOL:rolleyes:

I painted my plastic door moldings when I first bought the car. Almost a year and they are holding up completely fine. Go for it.

Shoot me an email and I'll give you the guys contact info. It's Brand X Customs that has done all the paint work on my last few rides. Been VERY happy with their stuff.

Looks good I like it. The red SRT lettering is a nice touch, and do agree red calipers would really make it pop!

Nice Look! For once, a real new look with stock wheels!

Hey, I have a black billet antenna! SHORT! Somebody mentioned a place here about em a while back and that's where I got mine for like 15.00 plus shipping!
