2009 GCSRT8, I just took through a carwash today and when i got home i noticed that the black thing above the passenger seat on the roof has come off. Looks like it just busted off. POS in my opinion, just clean came off, actually ripped off from the looks of it. What does this control? Where can i get a replacement?

Sounds to me like it's the Sirius Sat. TV antenna for the DVD player.........

Why would you take your SRT thru a car wash?

I'm going out a limb here, but I am guessing it was dirty...:D
Otherwise, he is really a bonehead.
I on occasion, do the same with no ill effects. Mine local one does a great detail inside and out. Yeah, I am lazy and go to the beach when I should be out waxing my truck. I then pay the Hatians to put a good shine on her...

IT was touchless guys! There is no way i would take it through a regular carwash. Anyways, the cover seems to be really worthless if it cant even withstand a carwash. WTF. tx for the info though ppl.

Hmm, sure sounds like the Sirius TV but don't see how it'd come off so easy

I actually went back to the "touchless" carwash later that day and the black cover was still sitting in the middle of the pavement lol. I cleaned the pcb that was exposed on the roof with contact cleaner, then glued the cover back on with some extreme waterproof adhesive. TV and SAT work fine still so lets hope that doesnt change!
