I noticed this on jeepsunlimited. Someone did an amazing job retrofitting projector style hid on a WK.

I wonder if this is how the new 08 lights will look like.

No offense, but it looks unfinished and cheap. I have something up my sleeve for us WK'ers. Stay tuned.

its the urban myth.....they are afraid to flash! You might turn around....follow them home....and cut them up!(Hahahahahah)

Well, my speculation is 08 lights will similar to above. I wish they would do something more drastic but doubt it.
StreetWk - do you have anything in store for the fogs? I am interested in 3000k setup.
I think it looks good. I swapped out for HIDs. I'm a little uncertain why it would blind people. Nothing was changed with the mechanics of the reflectors at all, meaning my light pattern is totally unchanged. Only thing that changed is the light source.

A nice row of bright led turn signals like the new Audis would be awesome.

It's not the reflector that matters, but the difference in construction between the old bulb and new ballast.
Here's a good read on the issue:

shhhhhhhh ;)
I actually traced (with pencil) the pattern on my garage door (inside, not outside) and my pattern did not change at all. Go figure.

Pattern and luminance are two different things. The percieved brightness and glare created on the human eye can temporarily "blind" drivers, regardless of how the pattern is thrown. It is for these reason that OEM HID systems use "projector" style housings with auto-leveling.

When people flash me then I hit them with LOW,HIGH,and FOGS...they love it and even if they didn't they definately couldn't catch me to tell me...They never flash surprising? I had HIDs in my silverado ss and they flashed all the time but after the Mcgaughys 3-5 kit and 27"s the flashing went away for a while but truck drivers would bother me!!!
