Anyone else have a problem where the Nav radio changes from Satellite to FM on its own? It occasionally does this in my SRT8...

Happens on mine when I corner too fast. Must be me hitting the steering wheel control. ;)

I should rephrase this. It only happens AFTER I turn the vehicle off. If I have the radio on Satellite, and turn the car off and back on, it will be on FM. It doesn't always happen.

This happens to me sometimes, too. It seems to be mostly if I turn it on where it doesn't get sat signal (like my garage, at gas stations sometimes) it will switch over to FM. But it's not consistent. :confused:

Same thing here. Only once in while.

Mine too, it seems to switch to FM when it totally loses the Sat radio signal. Sometime when I pull into my garage, my Sat signal pauses then starts again, the signal must be bouncing off something. On those occasions it stays on Sat. When the signal stops instead of pauses FM comes up when started the next time. I thought at first something weird was going on with my Driver memory setup. But since I have been paying more attention to it, it seems to be a signal strenth at shut off issue.

Let me know if this sounds simular to any of you guys.

Oh your nuts alright.

I thought mine switched when it lost signal too, but today I tested it out, with a steady signal, I cycled KOKO (key-on, key-off) 3 times and it stayed sat. radio. Then I tried it again after work, still a steady signal, and this time after the 2nd KOKO, it went to FM. I changed the mode to Sirius and turned the key off, and back on and again, right back to FM.

This is strange.

does this ever happen with the non nav radio?

Mine did it once while driving through a lot of trees and the signal kept getting lost. I thought it was kinda cool actually. I don't remember which preset it went to however, perhaps #1. I park in a garage and lose the signal every time but it always comes up nav if that is where I left it on koff. Have you tried pressing the power button prior to koff?

If you figure it out, I'll explain how the front passenger window goes up and down half way on it's own.:D

I found that my does it relating to Seat Position 1 and Seat Position 2. I have my AM early morning news setting and the afternoon rocking out to alternative setting.

Since this setting can also be set to a particular key, could you guys be chosing a different setting or using a key set to another memory position?

Just a possibility...

mine randomnly changes on it's on from SAT to FM when I start it up as I rarely listen to FM anymore and I've not figured out why. A quick push on the button and all is well so I'll let it be for now.
