: darn "service required" indicator light fasted55 07-07-2009, 10:54 AM At 15K miles, the service required light came on. So I bought an OBD2 diagnostic tool for about $45 figuring it would alow me to reset the indicator. No such luck. Is this only resettable at a dealership using the Starscan tool? Those cost way too much just for this use. If so, just scroll to the oil change interval and hold the reset button for a few secs, it will reset and go away.
