I'm going to replace my brembo's Tuesday, I'm getting the akebono's people are raving about in the rear, and some Hawk HP's in the front.

I read on tirerack.com on how to bed in new brakes, and the akebono's and Hawk pads are completely different procedures.

What should I do?

well obviously you wont be able to do two diff types so maybe do one set until they are good and do whatever the other recommend after the other pads are good? (put on separately obvi haha) i honestly dont think it matters. Bedding is important but ive never heard of anything happening with just a pad install and then normal day to day driving with a few hard stops. Nothing to lose sleep over for sure ;)
